UPDATE: It’s not a hacked site, but some battlefield fan genius got his hands on the domain and basically uses it to promote Battlefield instead. The site currently redirects to the official Battlefield 3 site. Hilarious no?

So is it a hack or a prank by the owner of the site?
I’m told this is a fan site and not the official one so I can’t say how big of an impact this is. And I have no idea what that site looked like originally or whether it’s just a parody. With all the fanboy wars going on concerning these two franchises as of late, it’s not so surprising that it would get to this point.
I don’t know when the owners plan to recover their site from those Battlefield 3 loving hackers if it did indeed get hacked but just in case you couldn’t see it in time, here are more screenshots of it as it is now:

ok reasons i dont believe this…..1.) we all know the call of duty site is a lot more elaberate and detailed then that and 2.) anybody with a basic html editor can make and edit an html document offline and take a screenshot this is not believable in any way and this fake post was posted by some total dumbass fanboy who would shoot himself if his xbox got hacked
